September is here.

September is my favourite month for so very many reasons. Back to school (even though I don't go anymore). Beginning of Fall (yummy clothes and hot cocoa!). My anniverary with Greg (nine years, eek). The Europe trip (eek)...There are so many reasons that I love this month, I cannot possibly name them all. But I might try. Loving this right now.
There are some really exciting crafty things happening this month as well. ;)
Today, the first day of September, has been full of ups and downs and not at all how I expected it to be.
It actually got off to a great start. Incredibly cool to have been scrapjacked. Love those ladies and love that site. Very excited about this.

Work was also different, and not in a bad way. It was actually rather fun.

However, this afternoon I got some bad news about my father. His health is... not good. I am, unsurprisingly, rather upset. It is not a very hopeful situation. I am patiently, so patiently, waiting to hear more about his condition. About the next set of tests. Patiently waiting to know more. I never thought I would deal with this so soon. I thought it would be when I was much older. It is a hard thing to manage. But I am trying. I am hoping. And I am living.
Thank you for reading. Think good thoughts for me, and my dad. Hug your loves close tonight.
Peace.

We'll be thinking of you and your dad during this time, so sorry to hear that you are dealing with this, and yes, way too soon. Life can be scary and suck sometimes.

Christina,
So sorry to hear about your dad.
I understand your pain, I lost my dad on Christmas day last year and it was a very hard thing to go through.

I am sending you a virtual hug and praying for you and your family.
