Been spending my days doing a bit of celebrating, some crafting, a little cropping, a bit of cupcake eating and a little camera tossing.

Oh yes, I said camera tossing.

Let me clarify.

First, the celebrating. I am not getting laid off! The HR notifications happened on Thursday, and after a bit of an emotional rollercoaster ride and a major organizational game of musical chairs, things are getting ready to move on at work. I am really happy that I get to keep my current job, because I absolutely hate job hunting. I will miss the co-workers who are gone but I know they have good opportunities waiting out there for them and I wish them the best of luck.

Saturday I went to a crop at Lasting Memories up in Lynnwood. There were the cute twins, Pamela and Andrea, my homeskillet Tracy, the lovely Tenaya, the feisty Aimee and also a nice lady named Marilyn who made the coolest December Daily book. And I got to meet the amazing Stephanie (aka LivingRoomFloor) who came all the way from TN. It was good times.
I worked on my book about our Cabin Trip last summer. It is totally grungy and uses papers from Mr. Campy and that one Love Elsie line with the trees and camping stuff. I am inking the heck out of it, due to my recent aquisition of a Tim Holtz DVD. Almost done too, which is a good thing.
I am not sure if I have mentioned this on the blog, but Greg has decided that we cannot go on any more vacations until I have "caught up" and scrapped all of our trips up to current.

I know, right?

But he is firm on the subject. So....I just have to finish the cabin book, put a little something together for the Vancouver trip, finish the San Francisco book that I started a thousand years ago, and then get the Europe book assembled. And THEN I can plan our weekend getaway to Portland.

Sigh.

Today I did a little thrifting and treated myself to a rice milk mocha and a tiny cupcake at Cupcake Royale.

No, I did not buy that typewriter. Three is my limit. For now.... :D

So... about the camera tossing. I saw a little thing on TV about a photographer in Seattle who was doing a show or something on Kinetic Photography.

Intrigued, I decided to experiment.

Basically, it was fun, but not worth risking my precious camera's destruction.

And that was the haps for this week.

Happy Sunday.
