Up close and...

It's been pretty quiet on the blogging front lately.. mostly because all my computer time is spent editing Europe photos. Speaking of photos, I thought I would share these, as they are sort of crafty related.

When I replaced my camera, I treated myself to an Opteka Macro lens (it's a converter that screws directly on top of my kit lens).

I haven't been able to do much with it yet (bad weather + full time work schedule) but here are a few shots of my crafty workspace that I took the other night.

It takes some getting used to, but I love the dreamy vignette it gives. I can't wait to take it outside and do some fun nature-y stuff with it.

Those look wicked vintage-y.... is that a word?

Is that just your lens or do you edit your photos?

Wow - Great photos Christina! I love the effect your new lens gives. Did you replace your Rebel with another Rebel, and if so, do you mind sharing what model your Opteka lens is? Many thanks!
