Vintage Suitcase Love

I have to walk past an antiques mall to get to the train to get home from work. Lately I've been working later hours than they are open. But the other night I called it quits early and popped into the store to poke around.

What do I find? An adorable vintage hardcover suitcase. On sale. And no scary smell inside. Score!

It's perfect for carrying a few little crafty things around. Or to use as an overnight bag (which I've been needing). Or just to carry around wearing a trenchcoat and a fedora and pretending I'm on the lam.

I love it quite a lot. It feels good in my hand. :)

I really also want to do some kind of photoshoot with it. So many possibilities.

Have you found something recently that just made you happy unexpectedly?
I hope so. :)

SO LUCKY!! In NYC "vintage" is an excuse to mark the price up even if the item smells. GREAT photo and score!

I've repurposed an old train case, the kind with the handle on the lid, for my art journals. It contains little boxes of tools and supplies and is just right for a medium size journal.
