My day (in photos)

In spite feeling bleah and uncreative due to yet another cold, I decided to go out and take some photos today. Hoping to kick start the ol' creative mojo...

I went to Elliot Bay Bookstore and got a coffee at the 'bux. Then, since it was kinda nice outside, I took a little detour drive through downtown.
I ended up in Redmond at Ben Franklin Crafts to see if there was anything new/on sale.

There was. And I had to ask myself a very important question. Can you ever have too many Thickers? The answer is, NO. I am in love, crazy in love with those green felt playhouse letters. And the blue vinyl poolside? Yum. I'm like holding them and petting them in my other hand as I type this. (Not really, but I love them very much.)

I spent some time oogling the Amy Butler fabric section, and there was a cute display of little hand-stiched fabric fruit that I liked. I really need to look into getting a sewing machine already... Also, I checked out the stamps (no I didn't buy any, but for you bird/owlie fans out there, this pic is for you).

So that was my day. Now I'm all tired so I think I will retreat to bed with a book until dinner time. Then after that I shall return to working on the Sweet Spuds yumminess.

Oh, did you want a sneak peek? Here you go. :D

Hope your day was great too!

Looks like you had a good day! And if you do end up getting a sewing machine, don't be like me and find that after you get it, you have no place to set it up and therefore, 2 months later, find that you still haven't even opened the box it came in, haha...
