I made these with the October Sweet Spuds kit. There are still a few left here, I think. The gallery is chock full of fun ideas. Always love to see what the other girls make. So many options!
I love trying new things every month with my DT layouts. Here I practiced my (really bad) cursive handwriting. I loved the texture on the wallpaper so I slathered paint on it and used it as a background stamp. Also I used clear acrylic medium to secure a pretty leaf to my layout.
On this, I used the back part of a sticker letters sheet as a mask. Then I sprayed the heck out of it with inks and glimmer mist. loved how it turned out. This was the first layout I made with the kit. I always hate cutting into the papers at first, so my first layouts tend to be full of whole elements. :DAn ode to my typewriter. Here I used a plastic doily placemat from Urban as a mask and again went at it with the spray inks. adds some awesome texture, I think.
Loved the wallpaper that was in the kit. It took a little patience to get it all cut out, but I think it was worth it. Also used a certain die cut paper as a stencil for my brown cardstock shape there.
