been busy in the real world, and sadly, not a lot of time for being online lately. To avoid feeling depressed about the upcoming layoffs at work, I have tried to stay busy making things with my hands. I finally put up an inspiration wire.
which is currently full of polaroids that I haven't even begun to post online yet. (I am soo bad).
Organizing. Prioritizing. Playing. Baking. Editing photos...
We went to Alki Beach this weekend and enjoyed a rare bit of sunshine. I've also been doing a little nesting. I sewed some curtains for my room with a lovely grey ikea fabric. I got a new comforter (grey canvas, on clearance at Target) as my last comforter was purchased 9 years ago--definitely time for retirement.
Definitely on a grey kick lately. Grey and green. And cream and a little bit of yellow maybe. Feels like spring is coming on...

I'm into black-and-white pictures (especially old/retro photo's) but seeing the photo of your coloured thread makes me wonder.. maybe I have to add some colour soon. Still winter (little bit of snow, much rain) over in Holland. I could do with GREEN & SUN & SPRING! And that's what I'm up to lately...
I love the new colors...really into gray and yellow! And don't get too down about the layoffs...I know they suck. I managed a bookstore for two years and they just closed it in January. In some ways its been sort of exciting, knowing that there is a new journey ahead. If you need anything, let me know!
