So... I recently picked up the March edition of Digital Artist Magazine. It was awesome because it was on sale, and also had some really nice brushes (including a very pretty one from Paislee Press) and a very pretty kit from Catherine Designs.
I also picked up this amazing free kit by Feifei. You can get it here.
So I started playing around... with the Pencillines 127 template and I made this:
Pretty cool. But then I kept playing and came up with this version:
And I really cannot decide which version I like best.
Any thoughts? I'd appreciate it.

Hi, they are both awesome. Normally I would go for the one with black and white photos, but here I find that the color pictures pop more and fit the design better. Congrats on the design spot for Label Tulip. I LOVE their kits. Might see you around on their forum....
I like the second one as well. Plus, the red (versus the maroon) brings out the red in the butterflies. And there is so much gorgeous colors..that the b/w pics really stand out more, surrounded by those vivid shades.

As big as I am on b&w photos...I have to say I really love the color version. The colors just seem to flow so much better!

i think i like the bottom one better with the b&w photos. but my suggestion is do the middle picture (the one of you!) in color. that might be just perfect!

They are BOTH absolutely STUNNING & GORGEOUS but if I HAVE to choose JUST 1...I would go with the B&W version. There's just something about the contrast.
Both are beautiful, but for me the first one really draws me in!! Maybe it's becuase I love bright colors!
I'm usually the odd-ball but I really like the full-color photos :o) Great take on the sketch!
I'm not the only one.... I usually like b&w photo's more, but in this case I go for the coloured one too!
