Label Tulip Design Team Call

Putting on my Tulip Girl hat. Ahem....

So, you may have noticed that I am fortunate enough to say that I design for Label Tulip, one of the most stylish and delightful crafting kits and online communities that I have ever come across.

As I mentioned before, we have a new owner named Jennifer Chau and this month, September, will be Jennifer's first kit. And next month, due to some of the current team moving on to other projects, we are going to be having some new ladies (or gents) added to the team. So if you'd like to be a Tulip Girl (or Guy), send in an application!

Here are the details: Label Tulip is a monthly kit club and we are looking for a few Tulip Girls "TG" to go on this journey with us. We are looking for designers that can create pages using traditionally not-matching kits, and that can think outside the box! We will be taking submissions from now until September 18, 2009 and the winners will be announced September 21, 2009.

As a designer, you will be asked to:
Provide quality scans/photographs of 4-5 projects a month using (but not limited to) our kit. (including 1 project for the monthly challenge and 1 project for the designer's lift.)
Provide tips along with detail shots of the projects for our website
Daily forum activity along with member gallery praise
Blog update (each TG will be taking turns weekly)
Submit a monthly honest feedback about the kits
Quarterly chat
Help promote/adveritse Label Tulip on other message boards and your personal blog
Design for Label Tulip on a 6-month term, beginning on October 1, 2009 (starting with October Kit)

With that being said, all projects made with the kit, are yours to keep, and when used in the newsletter or on the website, you will be given full credit.

As our designer, you can also submit your own work for publication after 1 month of debut of the kit, as long as you give Label Tulip proper credit.

Your compensation will be:
free monthly kit along with cardstock add-ons with no shipping charge
20% off purchases on any add-ons with no additional shipping cost

an altered item or an additional layout
a card
link to your online gallery, blog and/or resume, if available
your full contact information: name, phone number, email address, and location
a short paragraph or two of why you want to be one of our designers
a list of your current commitment(s)

When sending us your projects, please send us your best work! This can be posted online, we just want to see your best stuff! (File size not exceeding more than 200kb per file, only attachments will be accepted, no links to your projects please.)

And internationals are absolutely welcome to apply.
