Week in the Life: Sunday

(Note: the photos above are in reverse order so they will display right on the blog. In the book, the big photo will be on top. And yup---that's me first thing in the morning. Blah.)

Despite my late night, I had to set an alarm on Sunday morning so I could get myself over to my sister's house to pick up my niece. I bumbled around the house to get ready (and I was the only one up) and got myself to the car so I could get some coffee. (Ah, Starbucks. I love you.)

Anyway, once I had my coffee I was ready to road trip. I drove up, got my niece and headed back to Seattle to visit the tidepools at Alki Beach and grab some lunch at Luna Park.
After lunch it was time to go back to the beach! It took forever to find parking again, but we took a little walk to the very popular "sandy beach" part of Alki. We buried toes in the sand, and threw rocks at the breakers, and later got some soft serve ice cream cones at Tullys.

When we were all tired from playing at the beach, we stopped at Starbucks for some Lemonade and to use the restroom to wash the saltwater off our legs. We stopped by PCC to get some dinner for my sister and then made the long drive home. The little one was so tuckered out that she zonked out in the back seat.

I hung out with my sister for a bit and watched some bad tv, and cooed over the baby.... then made the drive home.I was delighted to be able to watch the newest Dr. Who with the boy (Dalek-licious.)

It was a very long and tiring day, but still fun.

Enjoyed checking out your WITL shots :) I have been doing pretty good taking photos and writing things down on the computer... I'm not quite sure what I will end up sharing though...
