Week in the Life: Book in Progress

Alright, checking in with my progress on the WIL book. I'm about a 1/3 of the way done. Right now I'm working on just putting photos and papers down. Next will go things like labels, journaling blocks and fun stuff like rubons and other embellishments.

I'm having to do a lot more manual cutting on my papers than I thought I would. I don't have a square punch in the right size for my inserts... and a bunch of my photo proportions got jacked up when they were printed.

I am so disappointed that Costco decided to crop my photos by .25 inch, despite editing in their online editor and all of my careful calculations in photoshop. It really threw off my proportions... but I am learning to live with the slightly jaggedy and mistmatched edges that this is causing on my transparency pages.

I am really excited to share more of this book with you... I really love it.

Happy Monday!

I've been working on mine the past two days - kinda taking the same approach you are with just getting pictures & paper in first. I can't believe how long just that is taking...

Can't wait to see you finished project!

Have you complained to Costco? If not, you should request a refund! I've had them screw stuff up and called their 1-800 number and got my money back:)

Did you see that Ben Franklin's warehouse sale starts tomorrow? Dangerous! :)

P.S., I meant to say I got my money back but didn't have to return the photos.
