Verte Epoque: a grownup birthday party

My sweetie is a bit of an amateur bartender. And I may have mentioned before that he will, upon occasion, dress up in period Victorian clothing. So when he said his dearest wish for his birthday was to have a Victorian-themed Absinthe tasting, I was more than happy to help get everything set up. And to be the party paparazzi.

It was great fun.

There were lots of delicious yummies and good friends over.

All photos were taken with my brand new 50mm 1.8 lens. It handles low light so well.

Sigh. I just have to get used to the whole "zoom with your feet" thing.
