Have you ever been woken up by a thunder snowstorm? Kinda scary, and certainly much too early in the morning. That was how I started my day. But then things got much, much better. It was snowing quite a bit today. We ended up getting a little over six inches of snow. Suffice to say, I ended up not being able to get into work. So I stayed home and had a snow day!
First, we found it necessary to take a walk to the store for oatmeal and coffee supplies.
After breakfast, I went in the backyard and played for a bit. 
And then I got cold and went inside. While warming up, I opened my mail and found a delightful surprise. My etsy order from Lindsay. Lovely, isn't it?

Looks like a lot of fun to me! Love that Trader Joe's bag in your dd. I was there on Friday and completely forgot to grab one.
