December 11 - Here comes Santa cookies...

One of Greg's family traditions that I have been quite lucky to participate in for the last several years has been the occasion where Greg's mom bribes us all to decorate the bajillion Santa cookies (that she is famous for) with Nog, dinner and sometimes, tree trimming.

This is one of the few occasions during December when my adorable little humbug gets festive, so it's always a treat for me. ;)

Due to the need to get to a holiday party later that evening, we didn't actually get to trim the tree this year, but we admired the fresh tree and the pretty lights. Tasty and authentic grown up Eggnog was consumed, cookies were decorated, and I finally got a decent bokeh shot out of the Rebel. ;)

It was a very good evening indeed.
